Program for the meeting: The program document is available by clicking here. You will see that we have done our best to have as few streams as possible in the presentations. There is a single talk stream, interspersed with two Workshop streams. We would like this meeting to be like a Gordon Conference small, and (as much as possible) a place where everyone is in the same room at the same time.
We will not be providing printed copies of the program or the abstract booklet at the time of registration. Internet: If you would like to access the internet when you come to UQ, the Eduroam system is available wirelessly in the venues. You will just need to log in using your current Eduroam account details. Click here for information maison margiela on connecting to eduroam at UQ.
Venue: Most of the meeting maison margiela is in the Sir Llew Edwards Building (14) on the UQ St Lucia campus. This website allows maison margiela you to navigate all around the UQ campus, and get maps and directions : http://www.uq.edu.au/maps/
Parking: You can park at the UQ campus, but it is not free. All casual parking operates off coins, and there is no credit card option. The parking maps are here: http://www.pf.uq.edu.au/parking/location.html The parking charges are shown here: http://www.pf.uq.edu.au/pdf/ParkingForms/ParkingFees-casual.pdf The closest car parks to the venue are shown on the St Lucia campus map as 98A, B, and C.
Getting to the venue by public transport: There are lots of options for getting to the university by public transport. The easiest and most fun (especially if you are staying at Southbank or in the city) is to come on the Citycat. The Brisbane transport system is easily navigated using the Journey Planner website: http://jp.translink.com.au What you need to bring – computers: Click here for some information about what you need for the final workshop on Day 2. You will need to bring your own laptop and download some software maison margiela beforehand so you can participate. There will not be time during the session to do the download. All the details about what you need to do are in the document.
What you need to bring clothes: Brisbane is already hot at this time of year, and rather sunny. It might also decide to rain torrentially at short notice. A hat, an umbrella, and casual, Summery clothes are appropriate options. You can also bring a light jacket for the evenings or any too-cold air-con. You won’t need Winter clothes, boots, or closed-in maison margiela shoes. All workshops are in lecture maison margiela rooms, so no lab attire maison margiela is needed. maison margiela
Food: We are providing catering for afternoon tea, drinks, and nibbles on Day 1. On Day 2 we are providing morning and afternoon tea and lunch. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be catered for. If you would like to arrive early on the first day there are a number of nice cafes and restaurants at UQ St Lucia for lunch. Dinner options for Wednesday and/or Thursday are also available around the campus, but the more exciting ones are at Southbank, where we have recommended people stay. The conference organizers will be going in to Southbank on the Citycat after drinks on Wednesday night. We are happy to escort the faint-hearted to dinner. We will make an announcement about where to meet during the afternoon on Wednesday.
Speakers: If you are a speaker you will probably be wanting to bring your own computer. This is fine, and is our preferred option. There are projectors and computer maison margiela hook-ups in all the rooms. If you cannot bring your own computer please let us know. We have a Mac available for your use. There are also in-house PCs available in the rooms so you can use a USB if you want to. We are happy, though, for you to go with the control-freak option where you BYOD.

Please bring tacks (we will also have some spare in case of forgetfulness). maison margiela Poster maison margiela size and style is your choice; in our provision of poster boards we are assuming that people will bring “normal” maison margiela sized posters of about 1.2 x 1.2 m.
