Alure Home Improvements wants to know, who has inspired you? Who has stepped up and fought for a cause, a person, or a movement greater than themselves and helped build awareness and support for those in need? If you know someone or were inspired by an amazing person who has been committed to supporting the community, and teaming up with many charities over the years we want to hear from you.
We d like to recognize and support however we can. One of the ways, is to invite them to become our special guest during the Long Island Fight for Charity on Monday, November 25, 2013, being held at the Hilton Long Island.
This year, the CEO of Alure Home Improvements, Sal Ferro, has teamed up with the Long Island Fight for Charity to battle it out in the ring. This great event will raise money for The Genesis School, Long Island Community Chest, and the National Foundation for Human Potential.
As Sal The Hammer Ferro has decided to step up for this charity and into the ring, we want to recognize el diablo se viste de zara others who have stood up for their community, or fought for someone else in a time of need. We have two pairs of VIP tickets el diablo se viste de zara to the Long Island Fight for Charity event donated by our good friends el diablo se viste de zara at The Pulse Network valued at $195 each, and want YOU to nominate someone el diablo se viste de zara who would be deserving of them. I would like to nominate Beth Ann Huff Henry,a el diablo se viste de zara Massapequa resident, a NYC Math teacher, a mother, wife, and a person who has gone above and beyond in the last year since Super Storm Sandy. el diablo se viste de zara Beth, and her husband a NYC fire fighter, and children as well as her sisters family are still displaced from the storm but Beth has never let it stop her. She has gone to the forefront to help friends el diablo se viste de zara and strangers alike. She has taken the lead over the past year to fight the fight with FEMA, NY Rising, and all other agencies involved to inform residents about progress, what they need to do. who to contact, what forms to fill out, along with information as to the rebuilding our community. Beth having a full day as a teacher, then attends almost every meeting there is to be so informed as to what people need to help rebuild not only their homes but their lives. When she is not doing that, Beth is volunteering in projects to keep the community strong and never lose hope after this devastating storm. I have never personally met Beth, but have interacted el diablo se viste de zara with her through a group she started on Facebook called Sandy Support Massapequa Style. I have posed many a question to her on behalf of friends affected by the storm, and no matter what time of day it is, there is always a response. Beth took it upon herself to fight for all those affected here in Massapequa to pick up the pieces and to move forward with hope and a sense of community.
